So we're here! Installation of Roots/Routes went flawlessly at Olympic Plaza, and we are onsite Saturday Feb 3rd, 10th & 17th from 4-7.
Last Saturday visitors enjoyed free hot chocolate, compliments of Be.Trit and Chinook Blast, while sharing some stories of their Roots/Routes. Here's a couple of our favourite shares:

Also, Chantal Chagnon shared a wonderful story of community in the Story of the Bear which was followed by a drummed song, to a wonderful gathering of 30 to 40 passersby. Don't miss out on this engaging Indigenous story this weekend which begins at 6pm Saturday February 10th.
Join us this weekend for Roots/Routes Engage which will ignite curiosity, flare insight and
spark criticality. This Placemaking artwork offers reflection on the place created, building on its character, and constructing a new identity. It is a place of transition where usual boundaries of thought, self-understanding, and behaviour shift, opening the way to something new!
